| Hand Painted Items for Home & Garden |
Hi, I am Cindy Williams from Jacksonville, Florida and Garden Strokes is the
culmination of a dream of mine. As a teen, I was always creating gifts and home
decor. From all kinds of needle work, sewing and the painting of plaster items
(Okay, it was the 70's), I made all kinds of gifts and decorated my first apartment.
My creative side took a backseat while I worked as an Officer for a bank and as the
wife of a youth pastor. These required creativity but not my kind of painting.
However, a recent health problem has resulted in a "germ free" semi retired
life at home. This has proven to be a blessing as my creativity has been reborn! I
have found great pleasure in creating items for Garden Strokes. I hope you enjoy
this website and my items.
